This is our guide to every padel club in Melbourne, with the address, courts, facilities, what's on and a map for each one. We last checked these details in October 2026. Clubs change their hours, programs and prices often, so check the booking page before you go.

The Melbourne winter question
Outdoor padel in a Melbourne July is a test of character. Courts get wet, artificial grass gets slippery, and the wind does whatever it likes. If you want to play through winter, stick with the indoor and undercover clubs: G4P Port Melbourne and Docklands, Recess, Nordic, iPadel and Tribe in Cheltenham.
Cold also changes how padel balls feel. A cold ball plays slower and lower, and an old cold ball plays like a potato. Keep balls inside rather than in the car overnight, warm up properly, and open a fresh can for winter sessions. More on that in how long padel balls last.
Summer flips it. The outdoor courts in Richmond, South Yarra and Brighton are brilliant on a warm evening, but heat speeds up pressure loss, so your balls go soft quicker.
What does it cost?
Court hire is usually charged per court for 60 or 90 minutes, then split four ways. Peak times (weekday evenings and weekend mornings) cost more, and indoor courts are in high demand from May to August. Most clubs offer memberships or prepaid packs that bring the price down. Racket hire is available almost everywhere. Balls for court bookings are usually your job.
How to find a game without a crew
Padel needs four, which is the main thing that stops people playing more. Most Melbourne clubs run social sessions and Americano nights where you turn up alone and get rotated through games with different partners. Noo's pairs players by level automatically, and Playtomic and Matchi let you join open matches across the city. Join one social and you'll leave with three new phone numbers.
Tips for new players
- Book an intro class. Colosso Southland runs free weekday intro sessions, and most other clubs have beginner programs.
- Learn the wall basics first: padel rules for complete beginners.
- Buy your racket after you've tried a few: how to choose a padel racket.
- Book winter sessions early. Indoor courts fill up fast from May to August.
- Bring your own fresh balls.
